Abstract
PURPOSE: To make automatic reduction possible in a short time by one step signal, by using a reduction function direct from a reduction start position.
CONSTITUTION: From a reduction start position, reduction is started direct in accordance with a reduction function (see slanting line C). In a metering process of an in-line screw projection forming unit where program control is performed, comparator 20 makes a comparison between a variable sent from potentiometer 15 in accordance with the movement of screw 11 and a value from arithmetic circuit 19 to send a signal to signal switch 21 when both values agree each other, namely, when screw 11 reaches reduction motion start point (x1) in its stroke, so that electromagnetic linear control valve 17 will be controlled by a signal from reduction speed setter 18. This constitution requires only one step signal used for a screw stop and also shorten the reduction time.
