Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain color picture without color unevenness, even at the location subject to magnetic change, by demagnetizing the color Braun tube in synchronizing with the vertical synchronizing signal.
CONSTITUTION: When the vertical synchronizing signal is inputted to the transistor 3, the emitter of the transistor 5 is made negative, the thyristor 6 is cut off, the emitter voltage of the transistor 3 is increased to conduct the thyristor 7. When no vertical synchronizing signal is present, the thyristor 6 is conductive and the capacitor 11 is charged up. But since the thyristor 7 is conducted, the charge is discharged through the demagnetizing coil. In this case, since the capacitor 13 is charged and the thyristor 8 is conducted through the resistor 14, the thyristors 7 and 8 are made conductive in opposite polarity and osillation current repeating charging and discharging between the capacitor 11 and the demagnetizing circuit 10 flows. When the vertical synchronizing signal is absent, the thyristors 7 and 8 are again cut off.
