Abstract

PURPOSE:In the case where an accelerator pedal is stepped in with a brake pedal kept stepped in and is gradually released, as in a steep-slope starting, to procure the required starting torque by conducting an all-cylinder operation from the biginning. CONSTITUTION:When a brake switch 1 or a throttle switch 2 is on, the condition is judged a low-load condition: the output of an OR circuit 9 is necessarily at high level, so that a partial-cylinder operation is conducted. With a brake released from its operation condirion, a mono-multiplexer 4 generates one pulse to reset a flip- flop 7 through an OR circuit 8, so that the Q-output of the flip-flop 7 becomes ''0'' and the operation is changed over to an all-cylinder opration if a throttle is not closed fully. The operation is also changed over to an all-cylinder operation when an accelerator pedal is stepped on with the brake pedal kept in the stepped condition.
