Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain accident-free products and to reduce their outer diameter by using a guide pipe as a jig for manufacture of a high-temperature detector.
CONSTITUTION: Thermistor 13 and electrode lines 15 connected to its lead lines 14 are held in bottom-equipped cylindrical metal protective tube 11 and cylindrical metal protective tube 12 through heat resisting and insulating powder 16 such as magnesia powder. In manufacture of this high-temperaure detector, electrode lines 15 are provided with thin guide pipes respectively, which are inserted into protective tubes 11 and 12. Next, heat resisting and insulating powder 16 is supplied and after insulating powder 16 surrounds conductors 15, guide pipes 17 are pulled out and insulating powder is further supplied, thereby obtaining a product. This method reduce the product in outer diameter and seldom causes its trouble.
