PURPOSE:To secure a simple switching for the double transmission lines by forming the communication control unit of the master station into the double-series structure and gathering the signals at the slave station via the hybrid branching circuit provided in the opposite direction to the control unit. CONSTITUTION:Two units of communication control units 2 and 2' of the master station are connected to transmission lines A13 and B14 via MODEM 3 and 3'. Transmitter 12 of the slave station performs transmission with branching by hybrid 5 and via MODEM 8. At the reception side hybrid 4 is used in backward way to gather the signals and then to supply them to MODEM 8. Either one of lines A and B is decided to use for transmission by centralized control computer 1 of the master station, and the carrier is transmitted to only one of the two lines for the signal transmission. In such way, the switching is possible between the two transmission lines in a simple structure and without using any special automatic switching device.
