Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a stocker which is so designed that long pipes can be stocked efficiently and be taken out as desired.
CONSTITUTION: A pipe P is carried in by a conveyor A, is held by an attachment 10 fitted to an inlet-side chain 3, and moves up and then down attending on the rotation of the chain 3. In the course of the descent of the pipe P, an arbitrary cylinder 6 is driven to move an arbitrary receiver arm 8 to a position flush with a receiver shelf 2, when the pipe P rolls down onto the shelf 2 due to its own weight. Next, a cylinder 7 corresponding to an arbitrary one of the shelves 2 is driven to ratate a delivery arm 9 so that the pipes P on the shelves 2 are held, one by one, by attachments 10 fitted to an outlet-side chain 5. Then, the pipes P move up and then down attending on the rotation of the chain 5, are delivered onto a conveyor B in the course of their descent, and carried to the next step.
