Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption for control, by supply control of AC power with thyrestor.
CONSTITUTION: The AC power supply 6 and the load 11 are connected via the full wave rectifying circuit 7 and the thyristor 12. When the said power supply switch 27 is closed, the capacitor 9 is charged up and the capacitor 16 is charged. On the other hand, the transistor 18 is not conductive since the transistor 19 is conductive with the base current via the diode 19a, and the thyristor 12 is conductive via the trigger diode 26 when the charging voltage of the capacitor 16 is more than a given value. The base current of the transistor 19 does not flows and the transistor 18 is conducative to discharge the charge of the capacitor 16. The thyristor 12 is not conductive at the end of the half cycle.
