Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the camera body compact by providing a mechanism which lets the mirror evacuate to outside the photographing optical path in cooperation to the collapsing operation of the photographing lens.
CONSTITUTION: When a photographing lens 2 is pushed backward in the optical axis direction by hand after photographing so as to collapse into the camera body 1, a slide member 41 slides and shifts backward by overcoming the force of a spring 43 mounted to an auxiliary plate 42. Along with the shifting of this slide member 41, a mirror up lever 30 turns counterclockwise and the mirror 20 slides upward in the clockwise direction on a slide surface 31 by overcoming the force of a spring 23. The sliding of this guide rod 22 on the lever causes the lever 30 to raise the mirror 20 to outsid the photographing optical path. At the same time, a switch 44 goes OFF and the lock of a release button 47 is released. In this way, the photographing lens 2 may be collapsed in the camera body and therefore the camera body may be made compact.
