Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure the perfect separation between the α-lipoprotein and the β- lipoprotein contained in the blood serum through operation at the room temperature by using the precipitant reagent composed of the polysaccharide sulfate and the alkaline earth metal compound mixed with the nickel salt.
CONSTITUTION: For instance, the polysaccharide sulfate such as heparin, the alkaline earth metal compound such as calcium chloride and the nickel salt such as nickel chloride are dissolved into the refined water to be used as the lipoprotein separating reagent. This reagent of 1ml is mixed with the test blood serum of 0.05ml and then undergoes the centrifugal separation at the room temperature after leaving about 5W10 minutes. Then the precipitate and the amount of chloesterol in the blood serum are obtained, and then a fixed coefficient is multiplied by the obtained value to obtain the content of both the α-lipoprotein and the β-lipoprotein.
