Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of spark when applying voltage, enable continuous production, and improve productivity, by disposing pole plates in anodic oxidation and electrolytic coloring treatment cells in specified positions, in continuous electrolytic treating apparatus of extruded moldings of Al or the like.
CONSTITUTION: Pole platrs 8 in electrolytic cells in anodic oxidation apparatus and elecyrolytic coloring apparatus are disposed from position (b) ahead of the starting position (a) of power supply to the moldings from a power supply part fixed bus bar 7 to position (d) behind the end position (c) of power supply. This distance is calculated from the voltage on the molding boundary upon start of power supply, liquid resistance, and cell width. When the moldings are carried in direction S by a conveying conveyor 1 and voltage is applied at position (a), the voltage on the molding boundary is small due to liquid resistance to the pole plate 8, so that spark will not occur. The specified voltage is achieved when the molding confronts the pole plate 8. Then, the voltage on the molding boundary decreases gradually until the power supply ends, so that damage of a sliding current collector 64 which rotates in direction T and current collector contact part 16 may be prevented. Also, by disposing a pole plate 11 of the same polarity as the moldings in the gap between pole plates 8, the potential difference between the moldings and electrolyte may be reduced.
