CONSTITUTION:The solid state image sensing element comprises using charge transfer type analog shift registers in its transmission lines, wherein an image sensor element array 11 generates charges in proportion to the quantity of input light and stores the charges. The charges are passed through transfer gate parts by phiXA, phiXB signals and the charges of even bits thereof move to a shift register 15 and the charges of odd bits to a shift register 13. The charges in the analog shift registers 13, 15 are transferred in the arrow direction in the analog shift registers 13, 15 by charge transfer clocks phi1A, phi2A, phi1B. phi2B. The signals of odd and even bits are alternately outputted with voltage signal by an output gate 16. Thereby, the copying apparatus which saves delay circuits may be obtained.
