Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently accomplish the penetration treatment of a sample by making the sample movable within a plurality of U-shaped bathes which are connected with one another.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of U-shaped bathes 1 of the same shape, which are made of a transparent material such as glass, are connected in the number equal to that of the treating steps with one another through inverted U-shaped connecting pipes 2, which are positioned above the liquid level 1a and which are made of a transparent material such as glass. Then, there is movably inserted a sample container 3 which is attached to flexible wires 4 wound on a power transmission ring 5 and which is made into a net cage. Thus, if an electric motor 6 is driven , the wires 4 are driven to move the container 3 toward the first U-shaped bath 1 so that the sample is dipped in a preset agent and subjected to the treatment of a first step. The container is then moved consecutively to the U-shaped bathes 1 of second, third and so on so that it is subjected to the treatments of the second, third and so on steps. And the agent caught on the container 3 is moved through the inverted pipe 2 into the bath 1. Thus, the preset penetration treatment can be accomplished without any spare of the agent.
