Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain information on four phenomena through the signal processing with one sensor by using the construction composed of a pickup for generating an output in accordance with the rpm of a rotational shaft, an rpm calculating circuit, a filter a peak hold circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The angular pulses of a rotary body 1 are generated by an electromagnetic pickup 3 which is arranged not in contact with a gear 2 mounted on a rotary shaft 16. In reponse to the signals generated, calculation is performed by an rpm calculating circuit 7 to determine the rpm. The rotational irregularity and the torsional signals of the rotational shaft are generated in the shape of mixed waveforms so that a rotational irregularity output 17 is generated through an LPF 12 and so that a rotational shaft torsional output 18 is generated through a BPF 13. On the other hand, the peak value of the pickup 3 is detected by a peak hold circuit 10, and the output of a period calculating circuit 6 is used as the synchronous reset signal 14 of the circuit 10 to generate the peak valve for each period, which is smoothed by a smoothing circuit 11 thereby to generate a rotational shaft deflection output 19.
