Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent seizure of water sealing packing, by providing a means for detecting tempereture of discharged water and a means for detecting temperature of supply water, and producing an alarm when the difference of temperature detected by the above two means exceeds a certain value.
CONSTITUTION: Water sealing packings 5 are provided with means 7 for detecting temperature of discharged water and means 8 for detecting temperature of supply water. Here, arrangement is such that an alarm is produced when the difference of temperature detected by these two means 7, 8 exceeds a certain level ΔT. With such an arrangement, time period from alarm temperature to seizure temperature T0 is respectively Δt1, Δt3 which are substantially equal to each other, regardless whether the temperature of supply water is high as T2' or low as T3, as shown in the drawing. Therefore, it takes a sufficiently long time from the time when the alarm is produced to the time when operation of the system is stopped, so that seizure of water sealing packings 5 can be prevented.
