Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce NOx and noise and improve the power of a Diesel engine in the direct injection type cylinder combustion chamber by forming high temperature wall surface as long as possible in the combustion chamber to flow injection fuel along the wall surface.
CONSTITUTION: The contact surface 3 of the cylinder 3 of a cylinder head 1 is formed substantially flat, a sleeve 5 internally engaged with a fuel injection valve 4 is projected from the center of the contact surface 3, and the nozzle port of the nozzle 6 for the injection valve is provided in the inner hole toward the projected end side.
