Abstract
PURPOSE:To imprive the production efficiency for the oxygen gas at titled apparatus, by previously setting the referince data in respect of the generated oxygen gas volume depending on information concerning the production plan, in a system including the air separator, the accumulator and furnace facilities, and by operationally controlling the air separator correspondingly to the actual command. CONSTITUTION:Since the oxygen supply to the blast furnaces 17a, 17b...is generally unformly destributed, the control of supply is not always important. In the converters 18a, 18b..., the smelting ready signal A correspondingly to each converter can be obtained by switches 24a, 24b..., etc.; hereby, after a specified period, the smelting time B is set, the smelting end signal C is produced after the period A+B, and these operations are repeated for every time D. The inner pressure of the accumulator 15 is set between PMID and PLOW in general, however, these values are determined according to the predicted operational condition, etc., for the requirement of O2 supply depending on, for example, the specification for the monthly production of the steel materials. When the inner pressure of the acoumulator 15 exceeds PMAX, O2 gas is purged out; when the pressure descends to lower than PMIN, the oxygen supply is backed up by the liquefied oxygen; and when the pressureure exceeds PHIG, the oxygen liquefying apparatus is operated.
