Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand a service area by improving directivity by arranging plane- diaphragm type speaker units on a baffle board in a block. CONSTITUTION:To baffle board 10, four plane-diaphragm speaker units of the same external size and the same shape are fitted being arranged in one block. One of those speaker units consists of squawker 11 and tweeter 12 arranged coaxially, and others of woofers 13. A shape obtained by connecting centers of respective units is therefore square, and woofers 13 are arranged in a L shape, i.e. a key shape to the unit of squawker 11 and tweeter 12. As for a speaker system of this constitution, an acoustic center is fixed at one point on the whole and, in consequence, directivity can be improved, so that a service area can be expanded.
