Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect the inner part of a heat accumulator from abnormally high temperature and improve endothermic efficiency by dividing a horizontal, closed and hollow heat accumulator which has a transparent plate on one side and an adiabatic plate on the other side into two spaces by a corrugated endothermic plate in order to make two air flow chambers.
CONSTITUTION: If the air is sent from a blower to the air inlet 8 of a heat accumulator 1, the air rises in the air flow chamber 5 between a transparent plate 2 and a corrugated endothermic plate 4 and is heated by the solar rays S. The heated air passed the opening 7 of the top end and falls in the air flow chamber 6 on the adiabatic plate 3 side. The falling air also touches the endothermic plate 4 and elevates the heat exchange ratio to the endothermic plate 4. If the opening grade of the opening part 7 is adjusted, the air temperature of the upper part in the airflow chamber 5 can be protected from abnormally rising.
