Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the delay of combustion in the vicinity of the carburetting wick at the main combustion chamber by a mechanism wherein the primary air intake port is established right below the flame piloting baffle by which bying out of the primary flame is prevented, and an auxilizry air intake port is established right above the ignition heater.
CONSTITUTION: The primary air intake port 27 is covered by the down-bent plate 40' of the flame piloting baffle 40. Direction of the primary air being blown out from the air intake port 27 is changed downward by the plate 40' and forms flame B, which holds the primary flame A being formed in the vicinity of the carburetting wick and stabilizes the combustion. At the ignition, combustion is performed initially in the vicinity of the carburetting wick, then, the carburetted fuel which was not burnt in that area rises and starts combustion in the main combustion chamber 22. By the function of the auxiliary air intake port 43 being established right above the ignition heater 38, fuel being carburetted at the carburetting wick 15 rises quickly passing thru the notched part which is prepared for inserting heater of the flame piloting baffle, by which the fuel becomes more inflammable and thus the instantaneous combustion of the fuel is prevented.
