Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide s grease composition having excellent thermal conductivity, paintability, and heat resistsnce, composed of a polyorganoisoloxane, fine powder of inorganic material, a fatty acid or its metal salt, an age resistor, and fine powder of hydrophobic silica.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) 10W50wt% of a polyorganosiloxane of formula (R1 is 2W20C univalent hydrocarbon; R2 is a univalent hydrocarbon having less carbon atoms than R1; a+b is 1.9W2.7; a/(a+b) is ≥0.05; n is a polymerization degree to give a polyorgnosiloxane having a viscosity of 10W10,000 cP at 25°C), (B) 50W90wt% of fine powder of an inorganic material selected from group II and group III metals and their oxides, (C) 0.01W10wt%, based on (A)+ (B), of a ≥8C fatty acid or its metal salt, (D) 0.1W10wt%, based on (A)+(B), of an age resistor, and (E) 0.1W10wt%, based on (A)+(B), of fine powder of hydrophobic silica.
