Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the analysis of transient characteristics of impulse to be wedely performed by momentarily displaying the process of operation from the initial value up to a certain final value with respect to the transient characteristics of the impulse having been generated.
CONSTITUTION: A sound collecting microphone 13 of a chamber 11 receives the impulse from a sound source 12 and the inpulse undergoes amplification 14, then A/D conversion 15 and squaring 16. In a accumulator 17, the squared outputs are reiteratively accumulated in mutually different integrating sections and the integration of the right formula is accomplished. The results thereof are temporarily stored in a RAM 18 and register 19. In this case, a control unit 21 determines the timings of the A/D converter 15, square circuit 16, accumulator 17, RAM 18 and register 19. The periods of the read pulses of the circuits 18, 19 are made shorter than those at the writing. Thereby, the transient characteristics of the measuring transmission system may be displayed 25 momentarily in the process of their operations.
