Abstract

PURPOSE: To set accurately the head of a musical program by detecting its recording position by a simple constitution by repidly feeding a magnetic loop to a desired part by a constant-level recording position detection signal through a positive feedback loop to the thyristor of a recording position detection circuit.

CONSTITUTION: The charge voltage of capacitor 21 of recording position detection circuit 11 by the repoduction output of a recording part makes transistor 20 conduct even when a reproduced signal is temporarily cut off. In this state, closing switch 12 to set the head of a musical program makes transistor 28 conduct and also triggers thyristor 30 so as to generate a constant-level recording position detection signal through a positive feedback loop to thyristor 30 by way of switch 12, so that a tape will repidly be fed through the high-speed rotation of motor 10 under the control of control circuit 9 and by the stop of sound emission from speaker 6 by squelch circuit 8. Next, when no recording position detection signal is generated at a non- recording part of the tape, the tape is fed at a normal speed, so that a simple constitution will set the head of the musical program on the basis of the fixed-level recording position detection signal.
