Abstract
PURPOSE: To obviate noxious gas constituents contained in an exhaust gas and heavy metal pulverized grains from an internal combustion engine by passing through three stage purification chamber having a filter and the like.
CONSTITUTION: A noxious gas constituent is purified by passing the exhaust gas through the conveying pipe 4, injecting within the purification liquid tank 2 of the first purification chamber 1. Gas is permeating through a filter 3, resulting that mainly the heavy metal pulverized grains are removed, which is conveyed into C shape exhaust gas flow-way 6 of the second purification chamber 5 through the communication tube 9. Gas is passing within the passage 6 together with an atomized purification liquid delivered from the pipe 8, developing the rotational force to cause a vortex, and moving downward along the raking surface of the guide 7. Then, gas is conveyed to the bottom of the third purification chamber 10 through the communication pipe 13, generating a vortex along the chamber wall, moving upward by the raking surface of the guide 11, and passing through the meshy screen 12 for discharging from the exhaust pipe 14 to the atmosphere. In the third purification chamber 10, gas directs vortically the meshy screen 12 causing to deodorize and reduce the speed by permeation.
