Abstract

PURPOSE: To purify urokinase and tripsin, by using an enzyme adsorbent comprising a specific aniline compound combined with a carrier.
CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I (X is N-lower alkylamidino or lower alkylguanidino group; Y is H, amino, or halogen; n is 0W2) is combined with a water-insoluble carrier, e.g. agarose, directly or via a spacer by the conventional method. An enzyme-containing solution is brought into contact with the adsorbent thus obtained to elute the enzyme. Preferably, the solution is brought into contact with an adsorbent comprising a compound of formula II: (R is alkylamino, alkyl substituted quaternary ammonium, or alkoxy carbonyl group) and a water-insoluble carrier preliminarily.
