Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of the selector switches and the capacitors, by the connection of the capacitors which determine the turn-over frequency to the slider of the variable resistor for high band and in parallel with the variable resistor at lower band respectively via the selector switch. CONSTITUTION:The components constant of the output circuit (resistors 2,6,9,11 and capacitors C4, 13) and the feedback circuit (resistors 3,7,10,12,C5,14) of the operational amplifier 1 are made equal and symmetrical, and the slider of the high band variable resistor 15 is grounded selectively via or not via C26 which determines the high band turn over and roll-off frequency by means of the selector switch 27. On the other hand, the slider of the low band variable resistor 8 is grounded, and C24 which determines the low band turn over and roll off frequency is connected in parallel with the resistor via the selector switch 25 selectively. The tone control characteristics can be obtained with the addition of the attenuation of the output circuit and the feedback circuit depending on the position of the slider of the resistors 8 and 15. With this constitution, the number of capacitors and selector switches determining the turn over and roll off can be reduced halves than conventional methods.
