Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the wasteful consumption of film by controlling film cutting according to the film quantity in the film buffer chamber.

CONSTITUTION: The first pulse generator 55 which detects the revolutions of the feed rollers provided at the inlet in the film buffer chamber is provided and is connected to a cutter drive circuit 109 by way of a gate G₁₁, second counter 107 and monostable multi circuit 108. Then, when the film in the film buffer chamber becomes less than the specified quantity, the output of the first counter 105 which counts the film quantity in the film buffer chamber causes an ANG gate G8 to open and while the outputs of the first pulse generator 55 are being inputted to and counted by the second counter 107 through the AND gate G₁₁, the film is idly fed. When the final exposure area of the film passes the cutter, the second counter 107 outputs to cause the cutter to operate. The film is then cut at the trailing end of the final exposure area and the intended object is thus achieved.
