Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to efficiently and remarkably perform the hole expansion work by utilizing the regular punch consisting of a large diameter part, a taper part and a small diameter part, and also the dies which have the hole corresponding to the foregoing.
CONSTITUTION: The punch 9 has a cylindrical large diameter part 9a, a taper part 9b following to this large diameter part, and also a small diameter part 9c following to the foregoing. In case of working, the metallic plate 1 which has the beforehand hole 2 corresponding to the small diameter part 9c of the punch 9 is held by the dies 10 and the keep plate 11 in advance. Subsequently, when the puch 9 is inserted into the beforehand hole 2 and is pushed forward in the direction as indicated with an arrow, the metallic plate 1 is burred, and the cylindrical part of the regular inside diameter is molded along the lower hole 2.
