Abstract

PURPOSE:To check irregular printing concentration of a thermographic head by controlling the current to the thermographic head through the detective signals given by the heating condition of the thermographic head. CONSTITUTION:Generalized temperature conditions of a thermographic head, recording paper and air temperature are measured by a thermistor 2 arranged near a thermographic head 1. The measuring temperature of the thermistor 2 is decided by a level detecting circuit 3 composed of the Schmitt trigger circuit, etc. Whether or not the temperature condition aroung the head is within the settled range is decided by a detecting means composed of the above-mentioned thermistor 2 and the level detecting circuit 3 and signals are output. A current control circuit 4 supplies larger current to the thermographic head when heating amount is small there and limits or stops the current when the amount is large. When the head is heated extraordinarily and is in danger of fire the electromagnetic valve 7 of a gas bomb 5 opens and carbon dioxide gas is ejected from nozzle 6a for fighting the fire.
