Abstract

PURPOSE: To reliably detect the wetness of a diaper thereby to exert good influences upon the spirit and body of a body by using a copper material as electrodes for detecting the change in the resistance between the electrodes when the diaper gets wet.
CONSTITUTION: A diaper 1 is equipped with two electrodes, electrode strings 2 and 3, and terminals 4 and 5. A cathartic portion 8 is applied to the cathartic portion of a baby so that its wet condition can be sensed by an oscillator 6. If thin copper wires are used as the electrode strings 2 and 3, they are strong, even when they are folded, and soft and extendible so that they are subjected to no trouble even they are washed. Since the wetness can be automatically detected without fail, the boby can be prevented from diaper eruption or eczema while enhancing the sterilizing effects due to the metal copper. By the early detection of evacuation, moreover, no adverse influence need not be exerted upon the spiritual growth of the body.
