Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish efficient cooling and heating regardless of any load variations in two different air conditioning systems (one utilizing solar heat and the other non-solar heat) by arranging a special correlation between the systems.
CONSTITUTION: Heat medium water heated with a solar heat collector 1 is stored in a heat storage tank 2 and is circulated to a generator 4A of a suction type refrigerator 4 through a hot water circuit 3 having a pump P2. A condenser 4B is connected to a cooling tower 5 and an evaporator 4C is connected to a heat exchanger 6 in a duct D in the first air conditioning area S1 through a circuit 7. A circuit 8 is provided through changeover valves V1 and V1' in such a manner as to connect the two circuits 3 and 7 while bypassing the refrigerator 4. Thus, the heat exchanger 6 is used both for cooling and heating. A cooling/heating equipment 9 is connected to a heat exchanger 11 in the second air conditioning area S2. A header 12 is provided for the circuit 10 and connected to the circuit 7 by a circuit 13A. A heat exchanger 6' at the downstream of the heat exchanger 6 in the duct C is connected to the refrigerator 9 through a circuit 13B. A circuit 15 is branched off through a changeover valve V3 and connected to a radiator 14.
