Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the compliance of a train to a command speed, by applying an instruction signal to control units by cyclic digital transmission to operate the control units and transmitting a detection signal to a motorman's seat to supervise the operation of the train.
CONSTITUTION: A manipulator 1 is mounted on a foremost car. The control units 3 are mounted on other cars. An instruction from the manipulator 1 is changed into a cyclic digital signal by an instruction converter 4. The digital signal is sent to the cars through the first transmission line 2. The digital signal is received by receivers 5 mounted on each car and transferred to the control units 3. The operating condition of each control unit 3 is detected. The detection signal is sent from a transmitter 6 to a calculator 8 through the second transmission line 7. The operating conditions of the control units 3 are compared with one another and printed by a printer 9. As a result, an abnormal machine can be quickly detected at the motorman's seat and transmission lines are greatly decreased. Therefore, the reliability is raised.
