Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a vibration insulating effect at a device for clamping a motor by providing a plurality of axial grooves at the outer periphery of a motor frame and elastic projections to be engaged with the grooves integrally with the upper surface of a base to thereby freely select the mounting position of the base.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of axial grooves 4 are opened at equal interval at the outer periphery of a motor frame 3 of resin or the like. A stator 1 is molded integrally with the motor frame 3. An end bracket 5 is clamped at the frame 3 with screws 6 for retaining a rotor 2. Mounting holes are perforated at both ends of a motor base 7 of metallic material, and both the ends including the mounting holes are deformed at an angle θ. The deformed portions may not become flat when clamped at their facing members. Thus, it can select the mounting position of the base to thereby provide a vibration insulating effect at a device for clamping a motor.
