Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain the unlocked state of a servomotor throughout the movement of a piston even if a solenoid valve for locking up the piston is operated by mistake, by providing a safety device which acts depending on the position of the piston of the servomotor to prevent the actuation of a lock-up unit throughout the movement of the piston.
CONSTITUTION: When the solenoid valve 1 for locking up the piston is energized, pressure oil is supplied to a passage 25 through another passage 4 and a check valve 19 to move up a fork 9 to unlock the piston. Even if the solenoid valve 1 is deenergized during the motion of the piston 12, the piston remains unlocked because a pressure oil passage 26 is connected to the passage 25 through a changeover valve 15. When the piston 12 comes into such a position that a stopper 10 and the force 9 are engaged with each other, the changeover valve 15 is shifted into the state shown in Fig. At that time, the pressure oil is discharged from the passage 25 and supplied to another passage 24, the fork 9 is moved down and the piston 12 is locked up.
