Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a composite sound pressure according to theory of the multi- way speaker system by arranging four speaker elements, at least, or three speaker elements, at least, and one passive radiator on one circumference. CONSTITUTION:The center of the speaker diaphragm of each of low-sound speaker 1, intermediate-sound speakers 2 and 3, and high-sound speaker 4 is arranged to be on virtual circle 5. Here, respective speaker elements must be arranged at intervals so that they can be prevented from interfering one another in respect to dimensions, however, it is needless because the difference of distances from respective speaker emements is smaller at points other than the center axis of circle 5 according as distances between respective speaker elements are smaller. Though the order of speaker elements on the circumference is arbitrary, it is better to arrange them in the order of the frequency of their charge band. Then, this system may be constituted by using one passive radiator in stead of one of speaker elements 1, 2, 3 and 4.
