Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the feeling of disorder for each output and thus to give the natural feeling to the listeners by setting the low range component of the stereo signal under the sum signal state, setting the middle range featuring the intensive aural signal under the difference signal state and furthermore delivering the high range component directly. CONSTITUTION:The right and left stereo signals R and L are supplied to 1st and 2nd input terminals 2 and 3 of matrix circuit 1, and then the high range components of R and L signals are delivered directly to output terminals 4 and 5 to maintain the stereo feeling as well as to suppress the disk distortion, the FM stereo distortion and others. At the same time, the low range component is delivered in the form of the sum signal of the R and L signals to output terminal 6, and furthermore the difference signal of R and L is delivered through output terminal 7 for the middle range component featuring the intensive aural signal. Thus the phase shifting is applied through phase shifr circuits 13-14, and then the output signals are divided into the positive and negative parts through signal division circuit 15. After giving the process to the output of output terminals 4-7, the stereo signals featuring the natural feeling are delivered to output terminals 20 and 21 via amplifiers 18 and 19.
