Abstract

PURPOSE: To stably convey sheet films with a simple constitution by changing the driving speeds of driving elements according to installation positions thereby giving required tension to the body to be conveyed.
CONSTITUTION: The film on the uppermost layer of the sheet films stacked and contained in a feed magazine 15 is vacuum-sucked to a suction cup 20 and moves together with the cup 20. This film is conveyed by the let-off driving mechanism 51 being the 1st driving element, the direction changing driving mechanism 75 being the similar 2nd driving element and the conveying driving mechanism 62 being the 3rd driving element which are put in operation state by means of solenoids. These mechanisms 51, 75, 62 have been so set at their driving speeds that they become faster as the films position forward to the feed direction, thereby giving required tension to the films. Hence, the sheet films are stably conveyed. Conveying of the used sheet films to a take-up magazine 16 is accomplished in the similar manner.
