Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtan this diesel engine for construction machinery that is suitable for use in a tunnel, etc. and the quantity of graphite discharged is little, by providing this device with relating apparatus of every kind that can employ emulsified fuel in order to decrease the quantity of graphite discharged. CONSTITUTION:This diesel engine 6 is formed being provided with a water tank 7, a pump 9 for supplying water fitted to a pump 3 for supplying fuel oil and a rest type mixer 10 in order that emulsified fuel can be used. Both pumps are constituted so that a piston 12 of the pump 3 for supplying fuel oil and a piston 13 of the pump 9 for supplying water contact and be interlocked, and water in a fixed ratio can surely be fed when a fixed quantity of fuel oil is supplied. In this case, a fuel tank 1 and said pump 3 and the pump 3 and the water tank are each connected by means of suction lines 2, 8, and a filter 4 and a fuel injection pump 5 are disposed between the rest type mixer 10 and the diesel engine 6.
