Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a mold for forming FRP article having superior mechanical strength and heat conductivity, by lining the inner surface of the metallic surface tayer with a reinforcement layer consisting of an inorganic hardening material containing metal fibers and burying a heater in the reinforcement layer. CONSTITUTION:On the inner surface of a metallic surface layer 1, integrally and closely provided is a reinforcement layer 2 of 10 to 30mm in thickness, comprising 5 to 50 weight percent of metallic fiber having a great elasticity and excellent thermal conductivity, 20mum or less than 20mum in diameter, of 3 to 25mm in length and an inorganic hardening material obtained by mixing cement or inorganic binder with aggregates. A plate-shaped heater 3 is buried in or fitted to the reinforcement layer 2 with anchor bolts 31 and an adiabatic reinforcement layer of 20 to 30mm in thickness comprising the innorganic hardening material is provided on the inner surface of the heater 3.
