Abstract

1. Slab-shaped cement-based structural element with, embedded close to the surfaces of the slab, grids in the form of intersecting bundles of glass fibres comprising endless fibres arranged in a longitudinal direction and possibly sheathed in plastics material, characterized in that the structural element (1) comprises, constituted by a highly flowable mortar, a matrix (2) which completely encloses the grids (4', 4") and which, in conjunction with the grids, provides a slab-shaped body, the flexural strength of which amounts to at least 18 MN/sq.m for a slab thickness of 1 cm.
