Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a dot print head having an increased attraction force without giving any damage to a yoke or actuator, by providing a wire returning spring between a wire and a fulcrum of the actuator built-in an elastic piece. CONSTITUTION:When the current is applied to a coil 22, a core 21 attracts an actuator 24 by excitation. The actuator 24, therefore, is turned to the left against the elastic force of a tongue-like spring 26a, and lowers a wire 25 downward. The wire 25 strikes a recording paper to print a desired dot thereon. After completion of the printing, the current applied to the coil 22 is suspended. When the core 21 is demagnetized, the actuator 24 is turned to the right by the elastic force of the tongue- like spring 26a deformed by pushing of a pin 21a to be returned. The above operation is repeated thereafter.
