Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a chewing gum free from rough touch, by adding lactose to a gum base in its preparation step, and by kneading the mixture at a high temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A chewing gum base and lactose are added to a kneader and kneaded at 100W150°C to prepare a chewing gum wherein part or all of the sugar material is replaced by the lactose.
