Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure an effective utilization of the no-charge system by giving the no-charge broadcast service at the no-charge time and securing an automatic switching to the charged broadcast with throuw-in of the coin.
CONSTITUTION: At the no-charge time, control 14 is given to turn on power supply A and turn off supply B respectively. The frequency converter consisting of auxiliary amplifier 9, mixer 10 and local oscillator 15 is turned off with switches 12 and 13 turned on and off each. As a result, the passing permission is given to the no- charge broadcast device 3 (2CH) and TV channels 1, 3, 4... UHF of the antenna system 1, and the picture reception is possible through the TV set. When the TV set is kept at 2CH of no-charge broadcast device 3 with the coin thrown in, supply A is turned on with supply B turned off each. And the frequency conversion is given to charged broadcast device 2 (54∼60MHz) to 2CH same as device 3. In this case, the conversion loss is compensated 9, and the sprious occurring at the bands excepting 2CH is removed by BPF11. Switch 12 is turned off, and thus the antenna system and device 3 are attenuated to about 50dB or more. As a result, the beat disturbance of the same channel is never caused to device 2 after converted to 20CH.
