Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the receiving state well, by selecting other broadcast stations successively when a certain broadcast station is received and by switching the receiving frequency to the frequency of a selected station if the receiving state of the selected station is good. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 8 stores the receiving level of the receiving station through a receiving level detector 11. The microcomputer 8 not only causes an electronic tuner 2 to sweep the receiving frequency but also monitors the output of the detector 11 through an A/D converter 12, and if a station having an electric field more intensive than the electric field of the receiving station stored beforehand exists, this station is used as a test station. When the test station is found, the computer 8 discriminates broadcasting contents of the test station and the receiving station through a voice analyzing part 22. If broadcasting contents of both stations are equal to each other, the receiving frequency is switched to the frequency of the test station.
