Abstract
PURPOSE:To correct and control the operation of the blast furnace to normal condition, by measuring the temperature and Si content of the molten iron at a constant interval in the operation of the blast furnace, and by comparing these data with their aim values, and by forecasting the variations correspondingly to the cause of the operational anomaly. CONSTITUTION:At each position possible to detect the cause of operational anomaly in the blast furnace, the detecting element providing the function of detecting the cause is respectively installed. Thus obtained measured values are substituted and accumulated for a specified period of time, until 1-5 days ago for instance, and also, the data to be hourly obtained are compared with the set values, and the generation of one or plural causes of the operational anomaly are selectively detected. In respect of the cause of anomaly, the substituted and accumulated data measured before the anomaly, is extracted; and through selecting the statistical regression method, the condition variables are operated and forecasted taking the heat condition of the furnace as the aim variables. The variation of forecasted heat condition of the furnace, that is the variation of Si content and temperature of the molten iron, and the difference of them from the aim values, are controlled so as to cancel or reduce by changing the charging condition of raw material and the blasting condition.
