PURPOSE: An oil poultice preparation that contains an N-acylaminoacid amide as a gelation reagent in the ointment, thus permitting smooth gelation and free control of the hardness of the products.
CONSTITUTION: An N-acylaminoacid amide or N-acylaminoacid ester, as N-lauroylglutamic dibutylamide, is added to the ointment of poulster preferably in an amount of 0.5W10 wt% based on the total amount. The resulting poulster has good adhesion and viscoelasticity which are independent from temperature and humidity.
