Abstract

PURPOSE: To transfer composite images on paper by incorporating a cassette system for toner development, superposedly forming destaticized latent iamges with a cathode ray tube or the like through the use of a negative image original and developing the images through the use of negative developer.
CONSTITUTION: The original 2 having negative images is placed on an original platen 1 and the data generated in the image signal superposed with the image of the original 2 are set in a cathode ray tube driving signal device. A toner developing device 9 is exchanged with a cassette for using negative developer. The cathode ray tube driving signal device 18 sends the driving signal to a cathode ray tube 17 so that the destaticized latent images by the cathode ray tube 17 are formed in alignment to the position of the electrostatic latent images by the original projector. Next, the destaticized portions of the destaticized images compositely formed by passing of the surface of a photoreceptor 7 through the toner developing device 9 are developed by toner and thereafter the images are transferred and fixed in the similar manner as in ordinary copying.
