Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the working utilizing machine tool of general purpose in a mechanism wherein revolution center of tool is moved along the cross-formed path and by forming sleeve groove formed by four circular arcs at the outer periphery of the opening edge.
CONSTITUTION: Tool 9 is revolved with a fixed radius in a manner such that its loci is larger than the diameter of the outer periphery of the opening edge of the suction port and the like at an engine cylinder head, and the revolution center of tool 9 is moved along the cross-formed path in the sequence of O1→O2→O3→O1→ O4→ O5→O1. Tool 9 is installed at a revolving holder which is capable of moving linearly along the three directions which cross rectangularly each other. Sleeve grooves 13aW16a to be formed make non-circular shape consisted of four circular arcs, and when a connecting pipe is inserted, it is fixed unrotatably at one of the four rotatable positions.
