Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform expidited processing by enabling back side beveling of bored hole using the same boring bar as was used in boring hole without reversing the work being processed. CONSTITUTION:Longitudinal groove 3 is provided at a side of the boring bar body 1, in which lever 5 is installed rockably on a fulcrum pin 12 being provided in the groove 3. At a bottom corner of the boring bar body 1, a tool bit 2 is inserted protruding out from the body 1 and pushing it toward the outside. A necessary hole B is bored on the work A by the rotation of the bar body 1 and by the cutting which is performed by the tool bit 2. When the desired boring is finished, tool bit 8 at the bottom is pushed out of the groove 3 by the function of a roller 6 which is pressed against the surface edge of the bored hole B, and the beveling work at the back surface edge of the bored hole is performed.
