Abstract

PURPOSE:To lessen the clogging of filters which occurs at squeezing and dehydration as well as to facilitate the picking up of cakes by alternately performing pressure-filtering and stirring by vacuum thru the reciprocal motion of the two squeeze pistons which are provided with filters at the front surfaces thereof and slide closely within a frame body. CONSTITUTION:After the squeeze piston 2 is forwarded and is reached at the cake exhaust side 13 of the cylinder shaped frame 1, the squeeze piston 3 is retreated, and the material to be processed 10 is loaded within the frame body 1. Squeezing and dehydrating are performed by forwarding the two pistons 2 and 3 from the both sides. Then, the discharge valve 11 is closed, the two pistons are retreated to their rear, making the inside of the frame body 1 vacuum, and air is loaded inside and the material 10 is stirred which eliminate the cloggings at the filters 5. Then, the two pistons 2 and 3 are advanced forward respectively, squeezing the material 10, and if necessary, the above procedures, i.e. squeezing and the piston 3 is forwarded beyond the discharge outlet 13 and the remained cake 12 is dropped by retreating the piston 2 backward.
