Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an anti-malignant tumor agent which keeps high concentration in the living body and has improved effectivity, by compounding 1-β-D-arabinofuranosylcytosine and a compound such as cytidine.
CONSTITUTION: A composition containing 1 mole of 1-β-D-arabinofuranosylcytosine and ≥0.5 mole, pref. 1W20 moles of cytidine or uridine. The arabinofuranosylcytosine which is decomposed and inactivated at a half life time in blood of about 15W20 minutes by intravenous injection, is stabilized by addition of cytidine, etc., and its anti-tumor activity is improved.
